If they'd brought fleet battleships and jumped into the action rather than flitting around the fringes, the outcomes might have been different. Regardless, they certainly weren't fully occupied with unopposed tower spam and they certainly had the opportunity to do much more to swing the outcome. Then, when it came time for them to withdraw into a defensible region back during the last war, they opted to make a stand in Delve because they figured we wouldn't want to waste time towering such an insignificant and worthless region.
